I recently used my recovery disks to bring my computer back to day 1 operation. I was having a very bad lagging/skipping problem with WMP Audio & video. Well, it was working like a fine tuned machine, and over the weekend, i was looking at some of those lovely girls & videos, and last night, my WMP started lagging for just video again.

I read that some of "these sites" will download a virus or something while your downloading one of "these videos".

My question is, I run AVG 8.0 every night, and I ran Spysweeper after noticing the problem, and nothing was found? Found that I had a Trojan in quarantine before running my spysweeper, but ran it and it still did it.

I read something about .ASX files. Could this have anything to do with it? Advise guys, cause I don't feel like doing the recovery again if I don't have to.

And what does this tell you that you need to stop doing. ;) You need to read and follow all of the steps in the below but also take quick look at the details in step 10:

How to Protect yourself from malware!

What is the question? This was just a statement of fact. Is your question whether you are clean or not. We cannot answer based upon those two scans since they are not comprehensive enough to determine if you are clean.

If you want to know if you are clean, please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions. If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

Note: If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
