Members Lament.. I rediscovered this place.

    Since about 2003 I kinda wandered away from the Techie/Geeky things, PC's were getting pretty boring by then anyways. The 90's tech bubble was rapidly deflating.

    I got into cars heavier,work,family and that nasty thing called life. I frequented a car site, http://www.thedodgegarage.com/ , and I never did see the little link at the end of the the tech list...3dfx Interactive.. wow.. I clicked on it and all the cool stuff I seen just sent old memories flooding back.. before I knew it I was slapping Fat Tech around in UT again on my V3 3000 running 208Mhz.. getting owned by Kodo and Eric(BAD)(EV,something..forget his SN!) in UT and playing S.O.F again online, watching Cappy type deranged jargin into the chat box.. :)

    Sorry for the nostalga. I am sure everything has changed on this forum but oh well.. life changes. Just did some searches and seen some old familliar names on here. Cool.. some people are still kickn around.. ohhhhh.. another SN comes to mind, 187MDK is it?? or something like that.. never forget pics of him in his polkadot shirt smoking a cigar and that crazy hair. LOL! Here is a name that will jar some people's memories for sure... QUERTYJUAN. lol.. it does.. it does.

    ANYWAYS...just sayin hi to some of the ol peeps.

    Hey, so ARE still kickin', dude. Some of us 'oldies' are still around. Kodo's still here, and Fat Tech rarely pops in.

    No more skunks under the house, I hope? :p

    HEEYY! OH MAN! you still remember when I was removing the fireplace off the house and a skunk sprayed RIGHT under the bricks?!! LOL! thats great.. man we tasted that for a while!!

    Sup brother, good to see you. Yup the 03 bubble cost me big time, more then I would have made in a lifetime, but thats ok, MajorGeeks is still just a damn cool website to me, so this is fun. My partner Jim (TweakFiles) is like a brother to me and a damn good guy to work with. Anyhow, 187 comes by occasionally, have not talked to him in a while. Kodos around and quite a few others. Cappy has been here and there. Lots of people come by, many are tired of "getting involved" but still like to visit, but that's ok, hell I hate my own forums because I dont care that much for some of the typical BS you see on chat sites, even ours :) Board burnout is normal, it gets old after a while, everything does. Some old school visitors I know are here using different nicknames. They write me to say hi and identify themselves.

    Still a Dodge man myself, though I have been driving Ford trucks lately, they make a great truck, though I think the big 3 all make a good truck. Quit riding motorcycles, everyone wants to bar hop, not ride. Boring. I got my dream car this spring, found it nearby for 10k less then anyone else, put some money down from selling my 300ZX and got a $900 car payment, but I think you'll agree it's worth it. Tough part was I found it in February, so didnt drive it for 3 months. Lost control of it once already, but it's been a dream to own a car so beautiful that you can just sit and look at it. Sadly, that means a Lamborghini (that aint happening) a 70 Dodge Daytona (dont got 250k) or a pre-03 Viper. 2001, rare blue. 5500 miles. I learned from past I dont like car cruie ins or shows, so I just take it out occasionally when the weather permits. Otherwise, its a great investment as well.

    Hey Tim.. good to hear from ya. See you're doin OK since DA FILES an all that. Nice Viper,awesome color,looks serious. Take care of that baby.. its got a twitchy butt.

    I do dodges but nothing so extravagant. I have a hepped up 2.5L turbocharged 89' Dodge minivan,built the engine and everything with my own two hands. I beat on ricers and other punks with it. They hate loosing to a minivan.

    I race my cousins civic and win.. even when I am running out of gas and the van is sputtering badly.The knock sensor was also busted! WOO this was bad.

    This was against my friends 2003 Sunfire with the 140Hp/150ftlb ecotec engine. My van had the knock sensor fixed and 93 octaine gas this time. This was fun! .. HE wasnt impressed.

    I also beat a 2.3L 5-speed 160Hp Vtec Honda with the van. I didnt have a camera with me that time.. I WISH I DID!!
