Wow! 203,000 members! That's more than the cities I live and work in combined, (Appleton and Oshkosh). :confused

Course I know not all are active, still.

Then there are the hyperactive ones like Halo with over 25,000 posts!

I just broke 100 posts and my real NY resolution is to average at least a post per day. Had I done that when I first joined, I'd be over a 1,000. :wave

I love those little message heads.

    Hi Brandy

Thanks but I been here since the dawn of time so postcount is large, yeah part hyperactive but not like Chaslangs 50K+ posts but he works wonders in malware and devotes a hell of alot of time to helping others with malware issues, as well as many other members here who devote time to helping others in whatever field be that software, drivers, hardware etc

Yes many are not active out of that 200K+ but they come to find a quick fix, many stay but many dont, unless they have an issue again.

100 posts is good and congrats, but postcounts mean nothing as they are not a measure of good advice, but ability and time on hand to post, be it a great technical post or a mind numbing post! Make it 1 good post per day and you will be on track and give great contribution to the community, you made a great post in Software forum today ( I added a thanks for good post) which will help the original poster (OP) to find a fix.

We've been turned back twice by police and got out one or two time times just to push people because every time they hit the throttle their car skids to the kerb.

All the well there's not a war on or we'd be losing...

    Damn amature drivers!

Hey guess we derailed this thread!

What was the topic again... oh yeah my post count!, 27K and counting.... and our great members who help in the tech forums, I would like to at this time to say thanks to all that post in the tech areas to help others as it does help many less technical users than yourselfs.

So many thanks from me for supporting the forum and others

I seem to remember a clean out of old posts in the forum a year or so ago that knocked off 10K or 12K posts from your total.;):-D

He's just an MVP (3 years running I believe), that knows his stuff and is part of the heart of MGs to my way of thinking.

    Very much agree to that.

I would bet I can count on one hand the number of my posts that aren't in the Lounge! LOL I come here specifically because I don't have to venture into the tech forums unless I really, really want to. I realize that doesn't make me much of a contributing member as far as help goes, but I had my hands full at t'other site where I "worked" for too long. I come here for fun! :-D

@Ricky and Halo - sounds like you gentlemen could use some of that global warming I hear so much about of late . . . :-D

Some days I think I am Engineer, or at times wish I was or could be cloned so that I could send the clone to do the forum posts and moderation.

Good memory lbmest, their was a cleanup, but still for me its not the number but the helping folk and the odd thank you for helping that keeps you going, a number is a number, you could have 10 posts and give 10 superb answers, you could have 28K posts and most are iffy.

We have great members of all walks and ages in life and this makes a forum work well, you always need a mix, if some just post in the lounge then thats great too as that brings fun to a site, to just reporting spam and questinable posts.

Everyone here contributes in their own special way and I thank you for just devoting your spare time to help and chat to others, makes the world a happier place.
