Hello, I was wondering if anybody has an idea, why after installing 2 x 1gb of Corsair DDR2 Total 4 (already 2 of the same inside) the system reads only 3200mb. I don't think it's the memmory. The motherboard is an ASUS P5-LD2 with XP Pro. confused

Hi Mr Hundt, welcome to Major Geeks.

Many motherboards can only address 3G with Windows XP (more with Vista) even though they have slots for more.
I haven't time to look at your particular board tonight, but I will come back to it.

To confirm studiot, the motherboard manual states (page 1-16, pdf document) that XP 32-bit will only see 3GB.
