Memory Clock Question

Hello All.

I have yet another question to ask. I have this video card :

I was wondering if this card competes with these:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127471

The reason I am asking this is because i noticed the memory clock on the GTS 250 is a lot faster than the memory clock on the 5850s. Or it seems to be. I was more so wondering what the memory clock in GBPs was on the GTS 250.

i think the bigger difference is the stream processes. 1440 for the ati, and 128 for nvidia.

 

Hmm...Thanks for the input...i did not think of that...Very good point.

 

and tom's hardware charts now have the 5xxx series ati boards on it. looks good for the price. still not enough to make me replace my 8800gt.
