I need to upgrade my ram and i was thinking of buying another stick of DDR. right now, i have one stick of "512MB 64X64 184PIN DDR SDRAM 400MHZ PC3200"... my question is, what do i need to look for when buying more ram? do i need to match this exactly? or can i go with a higher speed and capacity? my motherboard is an abit at-7 max 2.
    thanks

Greetings, best to have a matched pair, can not mix MHZ !! . I would go with a brand name as well, Kingston etc,,,generic memory is available,,,but there is much truth to you get what you pay for, Hope this is helpfull , Glenn

can go to 1 gig DDR each slot if your MB will support,,,or more..but big bucks LOL
