DRAM are Dynamic RAM and they have to be Recharged to keep the Data.
SRAM is Static RAM they can Hold Data as long as the PC is Running.

But are SIMMs going to be DRAM and DIMMs are going to be SDRAM?

Are all these homework questions? ports? ethernet speeds?
SIMM and DIMMs describe the architecture Single Inline Memory Module and Dual Inline Memory Module not the type of the RAM on the board.
SIMM is the older, phased out tech. From Wikipedia - "While the contacts on SIMMs on both sides are redundant, DIMMs have separate electrical contacts on each side of the module. Another difference is that standard SIMMs have a 32-bit data path, while standard DIMMs have a 64-bit data path."

If you're not taking an IT exam it's pretty much irrelevant.

If you're thinking about upgrading memory on your PC, the PC/motherboard manufacturer's website will have information on the type and speed of memory you need along with the maximum amount of memory your device will support.
