Memory usage question

Hi all, I have a question regarding different speed memory sticks. I just upgraded from kingston hyper x ddr360 ram to supertalent ddr400. I'm using an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe and have the 400's in the blue slots. This means I have two slots left. Can I put the slower speed sticks in the remaining slots while keeping the Dual channel with the 400's? I might just try it and see how it works but I thought I would ask anyway. Thanks!

What does your mobo manual say?

(Yeah, I agree -- some manuals are more confusing than useful. But ASUS does provide a reasonable manual, judging by the one I got.)
