    Hi,

Can anybody tell me the difference between Physical memory and Kernel memory?

The OS's "heart and brain" is essentially the Kernel. It controls everything on a low level. Physical memory is the sum of the Physical RAM you have installed on your computer. Programs use this actively as does many parts of the OS. The Kernel also uses Physical RAM to store data. Kernel memory is little more than what physical RAM that has been allocated to the Kernel for Kernel functions.
