Hey guys, I've recently had the awesome experience of having three outta four of my memory slots burning out so I'm stuck with 2 gigs of ddr-3 1600 for the moment.

I already ordered an 8 gig stick from Crucial so I can make the most out of this system until I get funds for a replacement motherboard as everything else seems to be working.

There's the backstory now as for my problem, I'm currently using AMD's A8-3850 with their HD 6550D AMD "Fusion" setup and since I'm stuck with having only single channel memory I'm concerned with how this will affect my gaming preformance.

Is the benefit of Dual Channel more noticeable on integrated setups or am I completely going overboard with the proclaimed performance that dual channel offers?

The card has served me well so far as I've been able to play games like Battlefield 3/Skyrim with reasonable preformance, haven't bothered loading them up since the incident though, might I be royally screwed until I buy a new motherboard?

Long winded, don't have much to do as I await for the ram and I'd appreciate any answers! :major
