hi. i bought Some Samsung 512mb PC3200 DDR400 184 pin RAM off ebuyer the other day. It was said to be 400MHz but when i recieved it, i put it in my machine and used the cpu-z program and it said that the frequency was 201.0MHz for that particular memory stick as i only have 1 memory stick inside. Is ebuyer advertising it wrongly or am i interpreting this wrongly? Thanks Jack

If this is on an AMD machine then that would be correct. Amd uses 2 pipes whereas Intel uses 4. So 200mhz x 2 =400 for AMD & 200mhz x 4 =800 for Intel.
