I have a MB that supports dual channel and has 4 dimm's

Currently in 2 of them I have a stick of kingston 3200 512mb making 1 gig..
Would I think be able to put say 2 consair gig sticks in the other 2 making 3 gigs total but still have dual channel or do all 4 sticks have to have the same amount of memory?

I think if you have sticks in all four it uses dual channel... It would be best if you used kingston 1gb sticks since they are the same manufacturer. Also try to get the same Timings...
