    Hello.

I've had the same malware for months now, and I haven't figured it out.

I started going through the process of the readme first, and I haven't been able to install counterspy because the windows installation program says it can't run properly in safe mode (it gives this message when I boot normally)

I couldn't run either of the online virus scans, but I tried Trend Micro Housecall online virus scanner and it said I was infected with memwatcher and tspy_small.

When I tried to run the Panda online virus scan, avira antivir found a file infected with m95/blumble.

My computer doesn't seem to have any change when I boot into safe mode. It loaded my screen up at 1280x1024 just like a normal boot. That hasn't ever happened before. It also has the partition and windows install numbers all screwy.

Usually windows (when installed on a clean disc) has a way of discribing what ide cable, drive, partition, and windows install you are running when booting up safe mode. A single hard drive with 1 partition and 1 windows install would be described as:
    0,0,0,1

When I reformatted my hard drive before I installed windows, the program said I had 0,0,0,(blank),1. When I start up safe mode, it says
    Multi (0),rdisk (0),disk (0),partition (1)/windows/(whatever file it's loading)

and that describes the issue that the format program sees. (0,0,0,1,1)

Heard of anything like that before?

I am not sure where to go from here. I do have a log from spybot (which found something regarding windows firewall) and I haven't ran unhijackme yet.

    Welcome to Major Geeks.

You are suppose to install it and update it in normal boot mode. The scan itself was supposed to be run in safe mode, but you can run it in normal boot mode now.

These are not a malware issues.

Complete the READ ME to the best of your ability and attach the logs you can get and we will tell you if there is any malware.
