This message (see picture below) pops up when the user tries to use Norton Anti-spam to ID a message as Spam. Microsoft.com says that "you cannot prevent this caution from appearing" and that "This behavior occurs if you have installed the Outlook E-mail Security Update." I have the same Anti-spam on several computers and this is the only computer that does it.

    1. How can I find out what program is trying to access the E-mail addresses? I'm guessing it's the Norton, but I'd like to confirm it.
    2. Does anyone know how to stop this message from appearing OR uninstalling the security update?

    Thanks!

You could use Filemon to track what files are being accessed by what processes at the time of the warning.

I've encountered this before, myself. The only way to stop the popup from appearing is digitally signing the application that's trying to access Outlook.

You could try to hunt down the exact update that causes this popup, but even if you did, there's no guarantee that it will uninstall cleanly. The update uninstallers are IMO really intended for immediate removal of the update if you find that it causes problems.

My recommendation would be to leave it be. Without this, even amateur programmers such as myself can write code to access your outlook. The syntax to do this is publicly available on the msdn websites. You could try looking for updates to the program accessing Outlook, and see if any are digitally signed.
