message icon

    i would like to find out how to extend the time a message icon appears.....not sure what it's called...the text box that appears when the mouse pointer sets over something.

    If you are talking about the Balloon, then that would be something that could be a registry tweak, but I cannot find any info on how to change the display length.

    it's the rectangular box that pops up on this forum ...yellow, when the mouse arrow touches the icon it either shows the text inside or a description you say it's called a balloon .....i want to change the length of time it appears in another program i use.

    I just wanted to make sure we were talking about the same thing.
