Messenger 14 Incoming Sound Choppy Problem

I have two identical NC10 Samsung netbooks running windows 7. I seem to have the same drivers and Realtek HD WDM, Atheros Wireless. With any Build 14 WLM or Messenger get poor choppy dalek sounding audio incoming on the newest NC10. I have tried and changed almost everything but need assistance to solve this issue. I have managed to get a good result by going back to Messenger 9 but in that case the incoming audio is quite low incoming. I cannot find any solutions anywhere and can see it affects Yukon Realtek NC10 and Dell and many others. Please Microsoft analyse and correct as I rely on MSN to speak with relatives abroad. I can use Skype and it's fine. So my questions are - anyone come up with any registry fix or driver solution. Does anyone know why it is happening or understand Messenger to explain likely solutions?
