messenger

Hello
I wanted to install Windows Live Mail but inadvertently installed messenger along with it.I want to remove messenger but am afraid if I remove "Essentils" and install just WLM that it might be a corrupt install because it has already been installed.
This "Essentials" doesn't like repeated installations.
Is there a way to remove just messenger?

Should be able to go into add/remove programs, select windows live messenger, then click uninstall/change, then uninstall (this should list the apps that were installed) from here you can check the apps you want to uninstall.

 

If you installed it as microsoft essentials click uninstall and then just check box in which you want to uninstall but make sure you dont check the box for mail and it will uninstall the messenger and leave the mail.
