i got a request today that someone has added my name to their 'buddy' list and was that ok. although i couldnt work out who it was i said yes (curiosity - meow). after i had ticked ok, i suddenly wondered about security issues on these messenger services. (i have yahoo and msn) are there any? can i be opening my puter to bad things by giving unknown people access to my messengers? just a thought. aloha

    roughly translated it's

"you must first go through hell to know what lives in heaven"

and through a crappy translating program it became "First you must lower to hell to know that you live in the sky" haha

there are some security risks with messenger programs, but mainly during a direct connection where someone mght send you a file or something...

not much to worry about as long as you deny their request to connect to you (unless of course you know and trust them)

TBH .. laurie, I deny any request to MSN if I dont know who they are as they are a bugger to remove later.

I really don't like people who have an often chaning non-identifying name. Like "i am a butterfly, don't make me die" or "Like a rolling stone" My one is quite good. Its my name :p

well they havnt got in touch yet....if it is someone that knows me or zoe, it could be an obscure reference to the difference between hawaii and gillingham, kent. however most people who know me and zoe, know we dont speak spanish lol. aloha :)
