Unfortunately it looks like posts #1 and #2 in 111174 have been deleted by the moderators?confused:cry I couldn't get back to #1 and #2.

Post #1 was a listing of the earliest members, their nicknames and their number of posts when that thread was started, up to the latest members to join.

Observe. Post 1 and 2 as numbered. So Im unsure of what you are talking about. Now there are some banned members that posted in there...but post 1 and 2 are visible.

 

Beats the hell out of me. When I go back from #58 towards #1, I can only get back to #3 and #4, which are the numbers for the 2 you posted just now, as I see them.
Still no #1 and #2, for me.confused Bazza

Who did/does the art work (logos)? I noticed the Mac MG logo the other day n have smiled at the Easter, New Year n other holiday enhanced MG logos.

 

Those logos are well before my time I guess.

The logos show on the front page of MG's during the holidays, so far I've seen:
X-Mas (MG has a red stocking hat, think XMas tree in mouth)
St Pat's (MG has a green hat, clover in this mouth)
Easter (sports his bunny ears and a carrot in his mouth)
New Years (MG is hung over, has a shrunken head)

There might be more that I've not seen yet, Major Issues has a great sense of humor. The Mac logo shows if you go to Mac forum via the front page.

Most of us new members came thru forum link via a search and bookmarked the forum, not the front page. I noticed something Lev said in the shoutbox n changed my fav. to the frontpage.

Also, the front page shows new downloads, MG picks, sometimes MG's puts major news, there are interesting articles, off base articles, top downloads, all sorts of things to explore. If anything changes it usually shows up there 1st.

If you look at the bottom left link it takes you to home page or http://www.majorgeeks.com/ that's where u will see the logo change on holidays.

 

I believe that in my original incarnation I was in the first 100 members. Of course, I was also around back in the old 3DFiles days too.

I dont want to hire him or anything! Just like the pics and want to see more.

 

hmm all sorts of interesting things in archives...rumor of a Halloween Logo, the 1st MG logo drawing...lots of stuff in there, we should have a archive trivia hunt game, I could not find his site tho.
