MG meetup in the UK

Hmm, Manchester or Birmingham are options. I guess it depends on where everyone is, and where is easily accessible. I picked London because it's reasonabley easy to get to from anywhere, though it's not nececarily cheap. Birmingham is probably the next on the list as far as it's easy for me to get there - and I'm reasonabley familiar with the place.

I still think London would be best, though.

We could make it a weekend event and organise a hotel - though that'd require some finances.

I might make some ammendments to the registration app to include location so we can work out where it's best to be. But not right now - probably in a couple of days time.

 

I agree with Goldie on this one, only thing I dis-like abut London is the high prices of everything, Hotels in particular

 

Ok, so.

Do we have some sustained interest? In particular the paintballing? Or will I have to somehow get rid of these tickets I've got?

Been away a while, just popped back and saw this about a UK meet!

I'm definately up for it, London is OK, not too bad from Leicester I'll ask mispon, don't think she's been on here for a while either, but I'm sure she'd be up for a meet. For her, Leicester or Brum would be easier to get to. (Although, there is nowhere easy to get to from Mid-Wales!

I'm gonna go sign up now, keep me informed. Provided I can get a coupla beers in the evening, I'm up for anything (Well, anything the missus will let me )

 

I was IM ' ing with matt_chugg today (UK) and I mentioned that Goldfish was trying, a while ago, to organise a meeting of UK members.

I guess it never got off the ground and Goldfish has been missing in action recently.
