MG time

i know we have discussed this before, but why is the MG time slow? i thought it was all puter generated, so how is the # 1 puter site of all time unable to set its clocks correctly. lol. not that it matters, but im curious.

Maybe they forgot to wind the clock?

The board software displays whatever time the server is showing, and computer clocks are about the least accurate of any around. I don't know if they host their own site or pay the pros to host it, but the server needs to be updated. With all the automated time updaters out there, you'd think it would be pretty easy, but what do I know?

 

The hamsters running the MG server only get fed at night, so they run round the wheel slower all day losing time on the server clock. Stay up late and watch the time fly by

 

They have like 5 servers around the world, I don't know how they keep track

 

perhaps its GMT thats slow. lol. perhaps its hawaii thats fast. (that is the least likely...hawaii time is an entity unto itself and under no circumstanses can be described as fast) right now im running 19mins faster than MG.

 

Yes. I'm 16 minutes faster here in the UK too. But who really cares.

 

But is your clock sinked with MG time? And those 5 servers, are they servers that run MG? Or are they servers that hosts the files?

 

Hmm. Interesting it's correct now. But I still don't care!!

 

From where I'm sitting you're 8 hours faster in the UK

 

Shows 3 minutes slow to me now. but, to tell you the truth, I didn't even know there was a clock here. Took me forever to find it
