MG Tools question

I'm following the READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide on Windows XP.

I'm cleaning a system (not from where I'm posting) and seem to think MG Tools might be hanging. From what I understood here ( http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=137630 ) the program would automatically close when it was finished. Is the final stage Zipping UserInfo.txt?

Is it finished?

I checked my C drive and found an MGTools zip. I'm assuming it has finished. I just wanted to be sure before I closed it.

Logs from scanning

I had decided to just restore my computer and then run the malware removal to get rid of any clinging problems there might have been (a few were found, but most were the wild tangent web drivers that comne preinstalled by dell). SO I've updated then followed the malware removal guide.

I'm running XP Media Center with SP3

My Logs are attached. Let me know if and when you need the MG Tools logs.

Previously I'd been using AVG 8, but after reading threads here about it, decided to try Avast. (I may eventually go back to using McAfee when I can afford it. I liked it, but I hate memory hogging programs...)

Anyway. I read here that AVG 8 should be good as long as you don't install the tool bar or safe search. Is this true? Or shall I forget about trying it again all together?

I intend to keep Spybot search and destroy and Crap Cleaner. I've reinstalled Spyware Blaster. After all of this is over, should I remove the other scanning programs? (Malwarebytes, superantispyware, combofix, and MG Tools). Will keeping them on my system cause problems even if I don't run them?
