    I have no idea what this is but, the instructions told me to attach it to this forum... I scanned and treated my comp. w/ SpyWare Doctor. Something in my computer is making it run at a 100% when there is no programs running. I am having trouble uninstalling certain programs and installing certain programs. My comp will freeze when doing disk clean ups and it's just becoming a big mess. I have no clue what it is or what to do.[/COLOR]:confused

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    You must complete all of the instructions in the READ & RUN ME. You have not attached the log from ComboFix or AVG Antispyware. Also it appears that you did not install and run CCleaner as requested. Did you skip any other steps?

    Your problems may not be malware.

    Is your copy of Spyware Doctor a paid version or a free trial?

    This is all a bit confusing for me... I am going to do it all over from square one. Should I post a new thread when complete or should I reply to this thread?

    Reply to this one - but as Chas alluded too, try uninstalling Spyware Doctor first and see if that helps.

    When I try to install S&D I set off the teatimer and all that, but it keeps timing out and will not complete install. My connection to the internet is fine, I am now seeing that even though I am listed as an Admin User with supposively full access to my OWN computer, I am being told Access denied when I try to download into the C drive. I can only seem to uninstall in safe mode and when my comp isn't spiking at 100% with no programs running, it's hovering around 56 to 65 percent usage. How do I install S&D if it keeps timing out?

    Have you uninstalled Spyware Doctor yet?

    Also uninstall this My Web Search (Cursor Mania)

    What process or processes are using all of your CPU time when you look in Task Manager?
