My friend is not able to use his mic on teamspeak 2 (even though it use to). It works in the self test you can run in the control panel - sound & devices, and It also works in teamspeak 3. He gets the following message when he starts it up:
waveInGetDevCaps Specified device identifier is out of range.
    Anyone know what this means??

    His system is as follows:
    Intel dual core
    Windows XP
Creative X-Fi extreme gamer audio card
    Logitech G35 headset
