Micro Teredo Tunneling adaptor code 10

:cry I have an HP Compaq dc 5700 Small form factor computer. Troubleshooting says C:\windows\system32\Drive\Tunnel system Micro Teredo Tunneling adaptor- code 10 6.1.7600 has a problem.

I just got a new Microsoft Desktop 200 keyboard for Business and also a Microsoft Optical Mouse 200 for Business and connected them via USB plug in.

My operating system is Windows 7 Home premium. How do I fix this problem? The computer is very slow now, it that the reason? What does this adaptor do?

I am old and not that computer savy. Any help you can provide will be appreciated. I tried going thru device manager action tab and add legacy hardware. and choose Microft Teredo Tunneling adaptor but the install failed.

Seems the registry edit is the way to go, especially when all else has failed.
