Microphone always on

I was cleaning up my computer and accidentally deleted the Turtle Beach Riviera utility and driver for my Turtle Beach sound card.

Win Professional XP automatically searched for and downloaded/installed a replacement driver off the microsoft site and all of a sudden the mic on my headset was perma-on. I still need to push to talk when I go to teamspeak but regardless, I can hear myself through the headset all the time.
I reinstalled the Turtle Beach Riviera utility/control panel but that did not fix it. I cannot find anything on it or on my control panel sound utility that addresses this symptom.
I was told to look on Control Panel/record tab for "listen to device" but there is no "record" tab and no listen to box anywhere to be found. Can you tell me how to turn off my mic (without muting) and return to normal?

Did you take a look over all the options? seems more like a configuration problem, i attached some configuration images (sorry i have XP in spanish but i guess you're enough smart to guess what is what you want).

Also you must see if there's both or 1 of the Microphone options "selected" and not "silence", make sure about it because could be unselected and you have to put "selected" it's different for each audio config.

You might also uninstall the Win drivers and reinstall the Turtle Beach software - just click through any 'not certified' warnings...
