Is there a way to make Excel 2007 simulate Excel 2003 in the way it looks? It's like learning a whole new programme. I haven't a clue where anything is.

    Thanks

    I don't believe you can. That's why I'm still using 2003!

    Hi Mr P

Try to give it a really good try as I am really used to the ribbon, have been using it for a number of years now, and wouldnt go back personally to the old way of doing things, but thats irrelevant as its horses for courses and we all become accustomed to a way of working.

Try this HERE, its the Free version of Ribbon Customizer, not as feature rich as the pro version, but may do what you want. But unless you wish to stick with O2003 then the menus are not going back, O2010 expands on the 2007 ribbon but its still going to be a part of Microsoft Office for foreseable future.

If your into a bit of coding then you can customise the ribbon yourself with buttons and options you use alot HERE (series 1-3) not for everyone, including me to go this route though.

    HI Mr P

Only re-visiting this question of yours as I gained an email newsletter from MSFT and some of the content was on Menus and Office 2007 for 2003 users, so thought this interactive user guide HERE may help.
