I have built two spreadsheets for delivery schedules. Spreadsheet A is where all deliveries through the day are listed. Spreadsheet B is a list of only active. Currently, I have it formulated spreadsheet B as follows...@if('master'!a2="Active",'master'!a2,"") and the formula is copied to column G. This works great except that towards the end of the day, I can have active deliveries spread from lines 200 - 400 with several blank lines in between. Makes it very hard to follow.
Is there a way for all the active deliveries to be listed from the top of the spreadsheet down at all times. In otherwords, can I make spreadsheet B list only the active deliveries. Can I create a macro that would sort spreadsheet B every time spreadsheet A changes? Spreadsheet A is saved at the end of every day but spreadsheet B is never altered, and is not saved. It is used for visual only.

Your formula works at each record from sheet a to sheet b so active data that meets the formulas criteria is paste linked to the equivalent column and row on sheet b as it appears on sheet a.

    simple:
Select the first record column from Sheet B and short Z to A to bring all the records to the top of the spread sheet.

    OR:

rewrite your formula in the upper right hand corner of sheet b only be sure your sheet a reference is the entire column and row from sheet a and your criteria reference to column g as a is not null value
