For some reason I never received the program Microsoft Excel with the purchase of my PC. It is Windows XP. Is there a free download of excel, or do I have to purchase the CD? Thanks Bella

Excel Viewer from Microsoft works quite well for me:

But if you want to create spreadsheets, then you either have to put money out of MS Office, or maybe consider OpenOffice.org that contains the spreadsheet program Calc.

Bella, if your PC should have come with a bundle of software eg. MS Office which Excel is part of then you you need to get in contact with the retailer or have a double check of the CDs you got with it as sometimes they are not pre-loaded.
