Microsoft forced to "rename" SkyDrive

    My guess is Microsoft will try to quietly work out a licensing agreement with Sky Broadcasting to keep using the name. If memory serves me correctly, Cisco had to do the same thing with a slogan "borrowed" from another company's unrelated ad campaign.

    I don't think they will gman, I do think Microsoft will go with an old favourite name or come up with a unique new one, watch this space!

    Metro was a corker of a miss hit, but what do we call it now? most still call it Metro even though its not officially called that at Microsoft.



    IP is all the rage at the moment and its of really no interest to end users as the product doesn't change and Apple, Google and any blue chip top 100 market company has been through this many a time, the "I" moniker for Apple is a case in point, pop "I" in front of anything and Apple legal will be after you... that is if your are successful, if your not they leave you alone, strangely.
