Microsoft needs the money back

    This coming from a company that's worth billions? The word GREED keeps cropping up in discussions like this. How do the MS higher echelon sleep at night?

    It was just ridiculous in requesting the 25 overpaid workers to pay back those small amounts. Micro$oft only reversed their action due to the publicity this caused.

    40 or so workers affected both negitively and positively and as Clark mentioned its resolved http://news.cnet.com/8301-13860_3-10170025-56.html?tag=mncol;txt was it done to save Microsofts face, possibly but many companies do the same so they are not unique, just in the line of fire. No real difference to your Tax office asking for small amounts back etc, the mistake should never have happened in the first place and knowing that anyone who is laid off and recieves a letter like this for monies back will actively pop this news into the press, so they really need to look into their acounting office practices and checks.
