microsoft office!

    i am facing this problem wid microsoft office...i install d office n it installs properly. But den wen i run d same..like microsoft word it starts windows installer service n asks of office cd....even if i put d cd the installer service fails to install...What do i do?
    i have windows XP..microsoft office 2000 works but office xp n 2003 won work?? Den i have dis error that speech recognition files cudnt be loaded...
    PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ HELP!!

    Is this an original OfficeXP CD, or a copy? It sounds like corrupted exe or dll files, even though the package seems to install ok.

    Its a copy..not the original cd..May be i should try installation with another cd..thx for d reply..

    There is a problem with Office and Norton 2005 that after some installations causes the installer to launch. The fix is to disable the Office plugins in Norton. But install with an original disk first.
