Microsoft Outlook

I'm fairly new to Outlook, but I'm starting to use it because I'm tired of online webmail working some days and some days not working.

Anyway, I have it setup, I can send/recieve and so on. One question I have is when I send a email, I have to click "Send/Recieve" before it sends, is this normal??

Also, I have a signature but it will not show on test emails I send?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Have a look through tools-options within outlook.You should find all the needed settings there.

 

Okay, I've been playing around with settings I think I have it all figured out now.

The only thing I dont like is it remembers email addresses and adds them when I start typing, like AutoComplete. Cant turn this off?

 

Also, when the Outlook is running will it auto Send/Recieve emails? Is there a way to minimize to tray instead of it showing in the taskbar?

Right click and check one thing, I feel dumb now haha!

From the Outlook Inbox menu, select Tools, Options. On the Preferences tab, click Email Options. Click Advanced Email Options. Uncheck "Suggest Names while completeing To, Cc and Bcc fields." then click OK.
