Hi all, I appreciate any advice. I recently had to install Microsoft Word 2007. I have been able to save my formats in a compatible mode for previous versions of Word, but I am unable to open PDF files, specifically my efaxes. I did make the noted change in the registry so that I was able to open other documents, and it works great. Any idea how to make any change needed to view these files? It comes up with a file conversion box that asks me to select the encoding available to make my document reading. No matter what I chose, it is still not readable. Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks again.

Wow, that is exactly what I needed. It opens fine now. Bless you for helping me. I am so grateful. Thanks.

No offense, but I'm quite amazed that someone who apparently is not a computing newbie (you installed Word 2007 and imply you've used previous versions of Word) would not know that Word does not recognize PDF files.

No offense taken. I just had a OS crash and didn't realize Adobe had not been reinstalled. Microsoft 2007 has some registry changes needed and guess I was in that mode and overlooked the obvious. Thanks for your response.
