Microsoft Works

    I have microsoft works 2000 Version 5.0. Evey time I try to copy words from the internet and paste it to microsoft word 2000. Microsoft Word says " An error has occuredwhile attempting to perform the last operation" and will not let me copy and paste. However I can paste it to notepad then copy it to microsoft word and it works just fine.

    192 mbs of ram
    1.2 ghz
    15 gig hard
    nvidia 64T pro
    cd-rw
    cd rom

    do you have a software firewall eg. ZoneAlarm, Kerio etc etc?


    If so Word may have its permission blocked to access internet.....

    No firewall

    I have no firewall that I know of. I just had my computer completly redone. I have not installed a firewall.
