Microsot security Center

ok, basics first. I unchecked all fo the allert setting, (firewall) (Automatic updates) (virus protection)and under recommendations I checked off < I have a firewall solution etc>... Rebooted the darn thing is still flashing on my took bar.
Next option was: HKLM-Software-Microsot secuity center-and added 1 as a value to the top three mentioned... shut down, restart, still there.
Now Im' frustrated, ran WSCUI.cpl did all the the above again since it didn't take the first time, again, shutdown, boot. Still there.
Now I'm in GPEDIT.MSC< too much stuff to even start reading about it...
Anyone have suggestions on how I can take this off my images?

what is it telling you? just the generic "there's a problem" message, or does it say something specific? can you take a screen shot?
also, some rogue antivirus programs will do it too. have you done any malware scans?

I ran Super Antispyware, spybot and combofix. Nothing.
I just can't de-active the Microsoft security alert, it comes back after I reboot.
