Mini-dump recovery?

Several weeks ago, I started having issues revolving around the IE and pop-ups or sudden links to other sites. I finally narrowed this down to a file vtstt.dll which I wiped out using one of the latest VundoFix programs.

During this period, I suddenly started having my system crash, go to BSOD and refer to Bad_Pool_Caller. Usually this crash happened when I tried using a certain file with Adobe Illustrator.

At any point, I have fixed the vtstt.dll issue but still get the Bad_Pool_Caller BSOD every so often. I have downloaded the Window Debuger program and have narrowed down this issue to a ATMFD.DLL file. Obviously, this is a dynamic-link file for ATM fonts.

So, my question now is... how can I get this mini-dump from occurring? If I go and remove all of the Adobe Illustrator Suite program and then reinstall, will this be enough to fix the mini-dump? Or will this just push the mini-dump onto something else?

Anyone have a clue? My final alternative is to do a complete reformatting of the HDD and reinstall everything from fresh. Hate to do this as it always takes time but can do it if need be.

    Thanks.
