mini hp 110 with no sound

hi i got a mini hp 110 and i have no sound. i tryed to let microsoft adminastrtor try and fix but he mentioned i had corrupted audio files or device and it'll take 100 or 200 or 300 dollars to fix it with a 1 year annual plan. Can some1 please guide me to get sound for my laptop for free?

First off you should of created your own thread instead of piggybacking this one as it confuses issues with this thread,Admin will most probably move it to its own thread.

I need more information about your laptop, so dependant on what OS you are running could you please run the relevent tool to give me a system report of your machine as this will help me find the correct solution for you......

1.) Win xxxx/ ME/XP

Click Report (top menu) > Report Wizard > Next
Choose System Summary Only > Next
Choose Plain Text > Finish and wait for report to generate
Click Save to File and leave the File Name as Report, then click the Save as Type dropdown and choose Report files (*txt) and click Save (n.b. Save to desktop is best as easy place to find it, use Browse to locate desktop)

Add the report in your next post like this.....

2.) Vista/Win 7

Download the free, Speccy http://majorgeeks.com/Speccy_d6358.html then run Speccy and click File > Save as Text File, then attach the log as per instructions below (note: as Speccy also now lists more data it likely will have your Windows licence serial key also in the log, so look for Operating System and under that Serial Number and delete the code and Save the log)
