Mirror two servers (not cluster).

I have a client who refuses to buy/upgrade from Windows Server 2003 Standard to Windows 2003 Enterprise Server for the clustering functionality.

Is their any known software that will do something similar to building a cluster? Or something close?

Basically the client has a server that must be up at all times. If the server dies, they want another server with near identical information to come online as a backup with little to no downtime.

I figured a cluster would be excellent. But, oh well.

    Thanks for any info!

I guess I'll be posting at MS or some MCSE site to find this answer. If I find an answer, I'll post here.

Unless someone here has some ideas.

Please do. My gf would be very interested in your solution, as she's in the same boat.
