Mismatched File Totals

    if i do "properties" on a certain folder i get slightly higher file/subfolder totals than if i go into the folder, highlight everything, and do properties on THAT. why?

    doesn't happen anywhere else but this one folder (with hundreds of subfolders). something to do with "hidden" files?
