Missing Digital Output Device After Installing Realtek

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling realtek but I can't seem to HDMI audio. Realtek driver is 6.0.1.8186 6/14/2017.

 

What is your exact Operating System?
What is the brand name and full model number of the device/laptop/desktop?
This kind of information is crucial when seeking help as shown in the sticky at the top of the hardware forum.

Have a look at the Motherboard Specifications - there's no mention of HDMI Audio.

I installed realtek driver 6.0.1.8186 dated 6/14/2017. In the past I have upgraded realtek drivers with no problem with HDMI audio via the graphic card. I don't wish to load the audio driver that you provided because if I do going back to a newer realtek driver will be a pain. I had a difficult time installing the realtek 6.0.1.8186.

I already installed the AMD driver.

 

The link in post #8 is for all the latest drivers for your graphics card.
It's a whopping 487 MB.
There are no other official drivers for that card.

 

The way I understand this is that AMD Graphic card drivers had audio drivers under the catalyst type. But they stopped including audio drivers under the newer ones which are now crimson. Some are complaining that the new drivers are making the old AMD audio drivers disappear that were installed using the catalyst drivers. So without those drivers one has to rely on realtek or intel audio drivers etc. When I hook up my PC to an LCD I get no audio via the AMD graphic card because there is something wrong with realtek (I think). I can however get video and audio on an LCD if I connect directly to the motherboard which will then be using the Intel drivers. Another thing I noticed is that I don't get the realtek audio manager icon anymore.

Also using hardware identity v2.1.1 I get a PCI device with no driver installed with error code 0. When I use windows device manager everything seems to be OK.

 

Problem solved I installed snail driver and it installed 5 drivers my desktop needed. Among them was the AMD audio bus driver and the AMD High Definition audio device driver. I was using Driver Booster 4.5 and it couldn't help with that. Would anyone know how to get a log of the drivers installed by snail driver lite?
