missing SCRRUN.DLL

Hi guys,
I can't get explorer to work properly. When I try to do IE repare it says I'm missing SCRRUN.DLL, so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I get the same message. Running out of ideas. I'm runnig windows 98, IE6 service pack 1. If somebody can explain to me how to restor from windows backup that would be great.

Forgot to mention I'm running 98 in french, does that change anything? If not, I'm not sure of where to put this.

 

place it in C:\windows\system and i don't think it will matter if it's french or not

Well guys, I tried it but now its telling me " version 5.0.0.3715 of file SCRRUN.DLL exists, but must be superior to 5.1.0.5010"

 

can u replace it?

It worked. Thank you all for your help, it's really appreciated. I just wonder how it got lost in the first place. Don't have viruses, did a scan with Avast and Norton just yesterday (definitions up to date of course), checked ad-aware and spybot and they didn't delete it. The only thing I installed recently is spyware blaster, but I don't think that did it. Anyways time for beddy bye, got to get up at 6:00am
