Duel channel MoBo. I was trying to upgrade the DIMM. I'm running AMD Phenom II x 4 945 - AM3 socket. MoBo has 4 DIMM slots. DIMM slot 1&2 grey, and DIMM 3&4 blue. MoBo spec's say good to 16g. I can only get the system to boot with DIMM1 (4g) & DIMM3 (4g). When I attempt to insert DIMM into DIMM2 & DIMM4 (separately & jointly) system won't boot.

When the system loads on the first config stated above on DIMM 1&3, are there any BIOS changes I need to make to accept DIMM2&4?

    Corsair DDR3 16g (4x4g) 1600mhz

Upgraded to Windows 7 x64 Home Edition, I have Radeon HD 5700 Series graphics card PCIe.

Any assistance you could proivde would be greatly appreciated, this MoBo is killing me.:-D

You should not need to enter the BIOS however you can confirm that the motherboard is seeing the memory correctly and save and exit.

I am assuming all the memory is the exact same specs so you might check the motherboard manufacturer to be sure that a BIOS upgrade isnt available.

    Thats the first 2 options...

There are several things that come into play here. Motherboard model number and the exact RAM model/specifications are needed so we can work this out.
