Mobo help

To save money I was thinking about getting a different mobo. My question is in your opinion is sli going to be a big deal later if not any recomendations on a mobo w/o sli that fits that set up.

 

Not into sli myself 1 card plays well enough without the extra expense some feel different i'm sure but i got a family to feed i usually stay away from refurbished boards as far as a non sli board that will fit the ddr2 standard

also before i forget change the hard drive to this if you go with the board i posted since its only got 1 ide channel (2 devices max )

1 dollar more than harddrive you had listed same maker same size just a sata drive

 

Thanks, I was planning on changing that hd to sata anyway.
Is LGA 775 good or should I change it to socket 939. not sure what difference is.

 

socket 775 is intels top of the line chips
socket 939 is amd's top of the line chips

 

So stick with 775 for intel?
and will I need to get any cords with the parts. I know the refurbished mobo didnt come with wires but retail one does.

 

m/b should come with all necessary cables abit is good about that they also make a good board happy building

 

yes intel socket 775 chips only work on socket 775 boards

It has sli (just in case probably will never use it) and it is 50$ cheaper than the retail version of the first one i had
