modem question

    hi all,
    i have a thompson speedtouch adsl 330 modem to connect to the web with with an asrock 775vm800 mobo, on looking for a new modem i find that i have an onboard mc'97 modem which is dissabled, would the onboard one be better than the speedtouch or should i get a pci one

    I have an asrock mobo and i just use the mc'97 modem. It works great for me.
