Money 2007 trying to update registry-howcome?

Environment: Windows xp/home on a Dell laptop.
Kasperski internet security 6.0
Firefox is my default internet browser however, MS internet explorer is installed and available, and Money2007 uses it.

I just installed Money 2007 Trial edition.
While running Money2007, it continually tries to access the internet; Kasperski software was used to block all of the Money internet requests.

What concerns me is that whenever Money is shut down, msmoney.exe tries to update the registry. Here is a cut&paste of the registry entry it is trying to update:

The alert the firewall gives me indicates that msmoney.exe is trying to change IE settings

Anyone know what msmoney.exe is doing to the IE settings????

(I do not trust microsoft)
