Randomly, a few minutes ago - my monitor flashed and now there is a small tint of red visible.. is there any way to fix this?

I've tried resetting to the factory defaults.

Long shot, but try gently moving the monitors cable a little. You could have a bad cable. We have a couple at work that look like heck unless you 'adjust' the cable a little where it plugs into the computer or sometimes the monitor. And actually, before you do that, make sure the cable is plugged in good at both ends.

    Nope, tried it already.

You might try reinstalling the video card drivers, but it sounds like a GPU going bad. But I am not totally sure, can you try the monitor on another computer, and or another GPU your computer?

Actually.. I just unplugged it a bunch of times, and messed around with the settings and it seems to be fine now. :)

    Thanks for helping!
