Monitor Crooked?

    alright well im not sure this belong here but too me , i think it be best suited here.. change it if you need too.

    Anyway the problem is my monitor is crooked.. the picture that it. Yes i no you think the problem can be solved by going to the settings where the degause is and change the settings until it fixed but i tryed.. that no button that will fix the problem... is there a way to reset my monitor settings to default?

    So it never looked like this before? Or has it always been like this? Did you change computers with this monitor?

    it never looked like this ... it just randomly happened when i turned on the computer yesterday and shortly after posted it on the site.

    No its alwas been on this computer... i havent changed the settings or anything.:confused:

    Would that happen to be a Compaq 7500, if so there is indeed a setting that will straighten out a tilted screen and it is in the screen menu that contains degaussing, you could also go to Control Panel/Display some drivers put the controls there. Hope that helps

    its a compaq 7550. I looked at the settings.. and i cant find it.. i tryed everysingle one.. do you have a clue which one it might be?

    I had a feeling it might the one under the degausse button but it doesnt do anything.. when i select it it shows at being at 0% and i cant adjust it.

    i also looked at control panel/ display and coudn't find anything in there either.

    hey!! it finally worked.. the button under the degause was the one that changed it.. but for some reason it was stuck.. i tryed adjusting it like 1000 times and finaly it worked.. but now the screen is all wavy b/c i tryed ajusting a whole tone of crap trying to fix the problem.. lol thanx for the help :D

    If it's wavy just keep playin with it. That's the best way to learn lol. Try messing around with H-Moire and V-Moire if you got em. That should clear up the wavyness if it's constant.

    Higra7 if you click on the icon at the ten o'clock position it will return your monitor to its default settings, sorry about the delay in getting back to you. Hope that helps you or others with Compaq Monitors
