Alright i just a got a question what exactly is hertz of a monitor? What changed when you adjust it ? What the best setting?

i got a compaq 7550 and my monitor hertz was at 60 and i changed it to 85 and i don't really notice a difference.

Hertz is a measure of frequency. Something that occurs at 60Hz happens 60 times a second. So on your monitor the higher the frequency you set the quicker the screen is refreshed. I always set my monitors to the highest frequeny that they will support.

    Hope That Helps. :)

No. Try it. As long as your monitor supports it then use it. :)
