Monitor loses signal

My monitor loses signal when the computer has been on for maybe 10 or 20 minutes (not at regular intervals) and the computer needs to be rebooted. When I reboot, the monitor is in sync and start up fine - until the next time I lose signal.

I bought a new video card and the problem stopped for a about a week, but then the problem came back. I also bought a new VGA cable - it is a VGA monitor, so I know it can't be the connection. All my settings for screen saver, sleep and so forth are set to "never". Originally I was running Vista, but then I reformatted the hard drive and installed XP - at the same time I got the new graphics card. But like I said, a week later the problem came back. It's a desktop PC and has 2 fans and is definitely not overheating. And when the monitor turns loses signal, the PC remains on.

It has been happening for about a month now, ever since I have been using Graboid. Is it possible that Graboid could be the cause of this problem? I wouldn't usually think that such a program would have anything to do with the monitor, but right now I can't think of anything else it could be.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Pete

So have you tried uninstalling Graboid to see if the problem goes away?
